Hey all... First POST! :o)
I'm so glad that this has started! I think it will be a great way to communicate with everyone and grow closer as a family.
My prayer request is for my best friend Joy. She is 26 and has M.S. She has been in a wheelchair for about 3 years now. Just under 2 years ago she got married and had her first child last May. The baby was 9 weeks premature, but is fine now. She had a REALLY bad MS flare up when in the hospital when her son was born. After spending a few months at Mary Freebed, she finally was able to go home. Since then, she has had problem after problem. She has lost the use of her arms and vision at different times. She has had many terrible bladder infections and been in and out of the hospital repeatedly. 7/8 weeks ago, she got such a horrible bladder infection that it carried through to her bone which caused a very large open wound on her back. She had skin graft surgery to close the wound, but was then sent to a Nursing home for 6+ weeks to be monitored. All the poor girl wants to do is spend some time with her baby...
Meanwhile, she is NOT working and currently NOT on disability, so they have no income. Her husband stays at home with their baby and refuses to get a job. He thinks it is best for the baby to have a parent at home. Personally, I think the baby is too young to remember anyway; and, I think he is using the baby as an excuse because he wants to be lazy. His mother is paying their bills and he is perfectly fine with that. I'm not sure how much more one person can handle. My friend Joy is VERY strong, she has to be... but I don't feel like this additional pressue is fair to her. Only God can heal her body, but her husband has the ability to heal their finances. Please pray for healing for her broken body and spirit. Pray ferverently as well that her husband would finally feel convicted to take ACTION!

Pray for Dennis and Carolyn Ross who lost there daughter Kendra in a car accident.
This is an update on my friend Joy. She went to the Emergency Room today because of another bad MS flare up. Her heart rate is very low and her left arm is paralyzed (Lord willingly only temporarily). Her right arm is aready weak from her bad Flare up last May and obviously her she can't move her legs because she is in the wheelchair. Please pray very hard at this time for her miraculous healing and the healing of her spirit... I feel like she is giving up.
Gavin Keen, Tami and Ed's 4 year old boy, was rushed to the hospital this morning(Saturday, Feb. 2). He was diagnosed with strep on Friday, and this a.m. his blood sugar dropped to 35 and his ketones went up to a dangerous level. They are in emergency now. This is his 3rd episode of this in the past 5 weeks.Please pray for God's Peace and Strength for Tami and Ed and Jeremy, and healing for Gavin. Thanks.

Pray that the people of Brightside Church will really grasp this vision of Prayer, Growth and Stewardship. That we would really be a tremendous praying church, and see God unlock his power!
Pray that each person would have a deep hunger for God's Word, and a passion for sharing Jesus with others and inviting them to our church.
Pray that our congregation would handle there money like it is really Gods, and tithe. That we would all be good stewards with our time and talents.
Pray for Kim Severson who was in a car accident last week with Kendra Ross. PRay for peace for her.
Pray for Mark TenHarmsel (and his wife Roberta)whose father passed away on Thursday.
Please continue to pray for the TenHarmsel family. As you aware, Mark's dad passed away and the family is now in South Carolina trying to get everything taken care. They are having problems locating the will and other items, which has put a hold on funeral arrangements. Please keep the family in prayer and that information that is needed will be located. Pray for their traveling needs as well.
Tammy King's grandfather, Paul Sisson, had a heart attack yesterday and is at Pennock in Hastings. He has not been given a good prognosis. Please pray for a miracle of healing, peace and comfort for the family. Barb & Larry are currently in transit from Arizona back to Michigan, pray that they make it in time (Barb is Paul's daughter, Tammy's mom).
My friend Joy is still at Spectrum. She continues to battle her most recent M.S. flare up. She had to go to the ICU the beginning/ middle of last week again because of paralysis in her lungs and breathing. It was very scary for her and she contemplated just giving up. She fought through it though and is once again stable. She hasn't been home in close to 3 months now. To complicate matters, I found out recently that she has also bad battling a virus called Mersa which is drug resistant. I guess that explains why this issue seems never ending. Please continue to pray that she gets stronger both physically and mentally.
Pray for Laurie Penninga who will get test results today (Thursday February 21). Pray for strength for her and Jim, and preparation for whatever the report will be.
we have just recieved word that a family member has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. This runs in my family so all the men in my family need prayer. I know that through prayer god can work miracles. Thank you all in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
This is sort of a Praise/ continuing request for my friend Joy. She is back at Crestview Nursing Home in Wyoming. This is good because she's making progress and yet she's still not home. She is regaining the use of her left arm and her vision is coming back. She's now been away from home for about 4 months. Please pray for God to strenghten her body and spirit so she can go home. Thank you all SO much for all your prayers!

I think we all realize just how important it is that we pray for our elder board AND Pastor Mike and his family right now. Pray that God really works through the changes that are coming and for protection agaist the evil one as we will most definitely be attacked. I hope as a family we can come together and pull through this as families do.
I JUST WANT TO PRAY FOR PASTER MIKE AND DEB YOU WILL REALY BE MISSED I AM SO SAD TO SEE YOU GO THE CHURCH WILL NEVER BE THE SAME GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL THE THINGS YOU TWO WILL BE DOING WE LOVE You
Pray for my current job load...as i am afraid that my family will start to suffer from the amount of work i am doing...also for financial wisdom and stability
please pray for me and my family.my children are going through a point in their life and dont want anything to do with me much anymore. and now my ex wife is trying to take all my visitation rights away from me. the court has allowed it for a month so far.for this month i am not allowed to have any contact with my children.i know the Lord has a plan for this whole thing but i need wisdom, and understanding of what he wants me to do right now.
